Youth Revival in Floyd VA

We had an enjoyable time with the Ashby's in Floyd VA this past weekend. The Lord deserves all the praise for the help in the services. The people were friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you Ashby's and the people of the House of Prayer Church and may God Bless you all in His work! Young people of the church, keep God the focus of your lives!

This is one of the pics that we took along the Blue Ridge Parkway from Roanoke VA to Floyd VA. It was a beautiful drive.

The quads look a lot cleaner than what they were because right before we got back we ran them through a creek a few times.

We rode from around 11am to 7pm. What a long day.

Pittsburgh Zoo

I thought this was a cool pic the kids would like of a polar bear jumping into the water.

I kind of got lucky on this photo because it happened so fast.

It also is not very clear because it was taken through a window.

Just Typing

Sorry I don't write very much and about all you see on my blog is pics but I don't care to write.

I guess some people have more time on their hands than I do.

There is so much going on in our lives with the church (A pastor's life in a small church sure does take up a lot of time) and work that I wonder some times if I have much time for anything.

Let me add this. The Lord and my family do get time though.

This Blog may seem kind of strange to some but it basically was set up so that my family could see some pics of us every once and awhile.

By the way, Katrina, I did have to try the slide out too. The only problem was, I jumped on it with my work clothes on. It was so hot and I couldn't help it:)

Tell your kids to come up and get on the water slide and go do some quad riding. They would have fun.

Tell Bart I'll let him go down the slide once :)

Lauren Wants to Go Riding

Lauren wanted to ride but she wasn't dressed for it.

Sorry, Dakota and Colten that Lauren was having so much fun while you all were gone this week to Papa and Nana's.

Dakota's Piano Recital

Amy Kunsleman is her piano teacher. Dakota has done very well for her first year. If I knew how I would add a clip of her playing.

Having A Blast

Lauren was having a blast being the only child for a week while Dakota and Colten were at Papa and Nana's.

Michigan Trip to work on the AWM West Branch Pioneer Church

Bro. Don Carpenter, Bro. Bill Davis and my son Colten and myself went to install the plumbing and electric in the new sunday school rooms addition.
We left on Monday morning at 4 am to go up and returned on Wednesday morning at 4 am.

What a Crew!

What an exciting trip. On the way up through OH and into Mich. we ran into 2 rest areas that had the sign on it, Sorry Closed. No Water. That sure helped things out a lot. :)
